UAB “Consena” supplies geosynthetic products, prepares plans and provides consultation required when selecting and installing such products. Our company can also equip geosynthetic barriers in: dumps under construction and undergoing closure procedures; accumulation sites of various capacity intended for the storage of industrial and agricultural waste, etc; car parking lots and petrol stations, where ground water must be protected against contamination; hydrotechnical constructions; construction sites and buildings.
Our company supplies the following geosynthetic products:
- Geogrids are woven synthetic grinds able to withstand tensile forces. They are mainly used for the reinforcement of soil;
- Geotextiles are fabrics that come in both woven and non-woven form. Such fabrics are often used for the separation of soil layers, in drainage and filtering layers within the drainage systems and piping as well as for the equipment of protective layers and the reinforcement of foundation;
- Geomembranes (HDPE and LDPE) are synthetic membranes of different thickness, which are impermeable and, thus, cut-off water or other contaminants;
- Erosion control geonets are nets of synthetic or natural bundle. Thanks to such geonets, vegetation may root in the slopes and may be protected against leaching.
- Geosynthetic clay liners are geocomposite products that are made of two layers of woven or non-woven Geotextiles and bentonite powder. They are impermeable, in this way cutting-off water or other contaminants;
- Geocomposites are products combined of several geosynthetic products;
- Geocells are three-dimensional permeable structures made of polymeric materials, which are joined together. They may be filled with sand, gravel, cement or concrete, and be used to reconstruct slopes and embankments touched by erosion.
Geosynthetic products are practically mainly used in the cases listed below.

Main functions of geosynthetic products
| Protection: Prevention or minimising of potential damage to constructions or materials by using geotextiles or similar products. |
 |
| Separation: Separation of adjacent, different soils and/ or filling materials in order to prevent their intermixing by using geotextiles or similar products. |
 |
| Drainage: Collection of rainfall, ground water and/ or fluid and their flow through the surface of geotextiles or similar products. |
 |
| Filtration: Retention of soil or other particles affected by hydrodynamic forces by allowing fluids flow into or through geotextiles or similar products. |
 |
| Surface erosion control: Usage of geosynthetic products in order to prevent the detachment of soil or other particles from surfaces, such as slopes. |
 |
| Reinforcement: The tension force resistance of geosynthetic products is used in order to improve the retaining force or mechanical characteristics of other construction materials. |
 |
| Užtvaros funkcija: Geosintetinių gaminių naudojimas sustabdant dujų bei skysčių judėjimą. |
